Cognizant appoints ex-PepsiCo President Zein Abdalla to Board

IT services firm Cognizant today said it has elected former PepsiCo President Zein Abdalla to its Board of Directors.
Abdalla was most recently President of PepsiCo, Inc, a global food, snack and beverage company from September, 2012 through his retirement in December 2014.
"The global perspective he (Abdalla) has gained building businesses across developed, developing and emerging markets will help shape Cognizant's future," Cognizant Chief Executive Officer Francisco D'Souza said in a statement.

Bueno raises Rs 4 crore funding from angel investor * Bueno, a Gurgaon-based food tech startup delivering gourmet food, has raised USD 600,000 (Rs 4 crore) in pre-series A funding from an angel investor.
The funding will be used in talent acquisition, technology upgradation, data analytics, operations, footprint enhancement and marketing, the company said in a statement.
