The minimum temperature was recorded at 7.5 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average, while the maximum was pegged at 25.1 degrees Celsius, five notches above normal.
Visibility was recorded at 200 metres between 5.30 AM to 8.30 AM at Palam and increased to 1200 metres at 11.30 AM, a MeT department official said.
At Safdarjung, visibility was recorded at 500 metres at 5.30 AM, which dropped to 400 meters at 8.30 AM. It significantly improved to 1,500 metres at 11.30 AM.
Flight operations, however, were normal, according to airport sources.

According to the MeT department, humidity oscillated between 42 per cent and 100 per cent.
The MeT office has forecast clear skies for tomorrow with the likelihood of dense to very dense fog in some areas during the morning hours.
"Maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to settle around 24 and 8 degrees Celsius, respectively," the weatherman said.
Yesterday, the maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded at 23.4 degrees Celsius and 9.3 degrees Celsius respectively.
