The national capital continued to experience an unusually warm spell this season with mercury remaining above the normal. In addition, the high humidity during the day caused much discomfort to the people in the city.
The maximum temperature was recorded two notches above the season's average at 27.5 degrees Celsius while the minimum settled at 10 degrees Celsius, a notch above normal, Met department officials said.
Humidity was recorded between 28 and 88 per cent.
Poor visibility due to dense fog caused several accidents killing three persons in Siddhartnagar district, and two each in Hardoi and Lakhimpur Kheri districts, officials said.
