"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" is still a couple of months away from the release, but the filmmaker Colin Trevorrow has already begun preparations for "Star Wars Episode IX".
Trevorrow, 38, posted a photo on Twitter which captures a Lucasfilm, LTD notebook on a table giving hint about the next "Star Wars" venture, reported Aceshowbiz.
"Back to school. #IX," the "Jurassic World" director captioned the picture hinting at the preparations of "Episode IX".
Alan Horn, the chairman of the Walt Disney Studios, announced that Trevorrow would helm "Episode IX" at Disney D23 Expo in August.
Trevorrow will follow director Rian Johnson, who is helming "Star Wars Episode VIII".
"Star Wars Episode IX" is expected to be released in 2019.
