Brought out by Konark Publishers, the collection will be a reprint of the volumes that were compiled from various journals and periodicals tracing Patel's life from 1918, when he made his debut in politics and came into close contact with Mahatma Gandhi.
The revised collected works comprise speeches, writings and correspondence (1918-1950) of India's 'Iron Man', who was instrumental in uniting the country through merger of small princely states and was one of the founders of our Constitution.
The collection is edited by late historian P N Chopra and Prabha Chopra.
The collection will be a tell tale history of India's freedom struggle highlighting historic landmarks in the movement spearheaded by Mahatma Gandhi, Sardar Patel's vision and philosophy and his seminal contribution in unifying India.
