He said this will be done to ensure uniformity, transparency and avoiding any major gap between the market price and the collector rates.
The chief minister was replying to an issue concerning collector rates raised by INLD MLA Ranbir Gangwa during the ongoing winter session of the Haryana Assembly here.
He said that deputy commissioners in the state have been directed to review and revise the collector rates twice in a year.
The Haryana Management of Civil Amenities and Infrastructure Deficient Municipal Areas (Special Provisions), Amendment Bill, 2017 was passed to further amend the Haryana Management of Civil Amenities and Infrastructure Deficient Municipal Areas (Special Provisions) Act, 2016.
The Haryana Municipal (Second Amendment) Bill 2017 was passed to further amend the Haryana Municipal Act 1973 and the. the Haryana Municipal Corporation (Second Amendment) Bill 2017 to amend the Haryana Municipal Corporation Act 1994.
The Assembly has also passed the Indian Stamp (Haryana Second Amendment) Bill 2017 to amend the Indian Stamp Act 1899, in its application to the state of Haryana.
