Though, Vir had made his acting debut with 'Mumbai Salsa' and later did films like 'Namastey London', 'Love Aaj Kal' and 'Badmaash Company', it was Aamir Khan's home production 'Delhi Belly' that brought fame to the actor.
So far Vir was a part of multi-starrer films, but now he has got his solo films lined up for release.
"For me 'Delhi Belly' was a nice booster in my career. I was flooded with offers soon after the film released. I had signed five films by August 15 and 'Delhi Belly' had released in July. That is the kind of response that the film created for me," Vir told PTI in an interview here.
Vir is quite excited as he will have his films releasing every two months now on. "I have seven films hopefully all releasing this year where I am in the lead. So every two months I will be seen in a film," he said.
The stand-up comedian-actor will be seen next in 'Go Goa Gone', a zombie-comedy film, 'Super Se Uper' a love story, 'Amit Sahni Ki List' which is a rom-com, 'Gollu Aur Pappu' a kids film, Tigmanshu Dhulia's 'Revolver Rani', 'Santa Aur Banta' and Pritish Nandy's home production film 'Shaadi Ke Side Effects'.
