The show's host and producer, comedian Kapil Sharma confirmed the news on Twitter and said the show will be back with new characters and new set.
"'Comedy Nights With Kapil' is going off air from September.. We will come back with new characters and new set..Till then... Keep smiling," he wrote on the micro-blogging site.
'Comedy Nights With Kapil' currently airs on Colors channel.
