MCX, NCDEX, NMCE and ACE will open for 'muhurat trading' session for 2.30 hours on the day of Diwali, the exchanges said in separate circular.
The trading time will be the same for domestic traded commodities and for global commodities such as bullion, metals, crude, polymers and carbon credits.
The pre-open session will start from 5.45 pm and client code modification would be allowed between 8.30pm and 8.45 pm.
The turnover of the commodity bourses stood at Rs 31.82 lakh crore till October 15 of this fiscal, down by over 53 per cent from over the year-ago, as per the official data.
