The e-Biz portal provides one-stop clearance platform for investment proposals.
"We have created an e-Biz platform where we are integrating (central and state services). 14 services of Government of India have been integrated.
"But over the period of time, we will integrate all the state and central government services so that there is one paper and one point of payment to make India an easy and simple place to do business," Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP) Secretary Amitabh Kant said here at the the 10th National Quality Conclave.
The eBiz portal aims at providing all business and investment related regulatory services across central, state and local governments on a single platform.

Speaking at the occasion, chief of the Quality Council of India (QCI) Adil Zainulbhai said that the council is working on programmes to improve the standard of goods and services of the MSME sector.
"In the next five years, we hope to help 1.5 million SMEs in improving the quality of their products," he said adding QCI would seek help of global institutions in achieving this goal.
He further said, "We have now started a programme that will do certification of Yoga instructors and certification of clinics...We are also trying to get to the point where we can accredit the very large number of rural hospitals and primary health centres around India so that we can improve the quality of these services that are delivered to every citizen.
