Committee constituted on formation of new districts in Raj

The Rajasthan government has constituted a high-level committee on formation of new districts, sub-divisions and police circles in the state.
The committee, headed by retired IAS officer Parmesh Chand, will submit its recommendations to the government in three months, an official release said here today.
The Principal Secretary (Revenue) will be its member secretary, it said.
Principal Secretaries of Finance and Rural Development and Additional Chief Secretary (Home) are members of the committee, the release said.
