Competition Commission of India (CCI), which keeps a watch on unfair business practices across sectors, has sought applications for director-level positions in the areas of law, economics and financial analysis.
According to a public notice, a total of 12 deputy directors would be recruited. Out of them, seven would be for law, three for financial analysis works and two for economics.
Besides, two joint directors would be appointed in law and economics areas.
The watchdog would also hire 14 support staff, including 13 office managers for corporate services.

"The Commission is looking for bright and young Indian professionals with ability and aptitude to discharge the core functions of the Commission, which in terms of specific activities would involve prevention of anti-competitive agreements/abuse of dominate position, regulation of combinations and competition advocacy," as per the public notice.
An efficient team of corporate service is also needed for smooth functioning of the CCI, it added.
In May, the regulator had invited applications for filling up different positions and engaging professionals on short-term basis in various departments.
