A complaint was filed in a local court seeking registration of a case against Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi for allegedly hurting religious sentiments with his "toilets first, temples later" remark.
Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Ghambhir Singh today posted the matter for October 15.
Pandit Charmesh Sharma, a resident of Chatterpura area of the city, yesterday approached the court seeking direction for registration of case against Modi.
Sharma said that in spite of his repeated pleas police did not register the case after which he approached the court.
According to Sharma, his religious sentiments were "severely hurt" and he was deeply pained after hearing the speech by the Gujarat Chief Minister.
Build toilets first and temples later, Modi said on October 2 during a function in the national capital.
