The series, which premiered in June, stars Jason O'Mara as a suburban doctor who winds up killing a street gang member after he rushes to help the victim of a drive-by shooting, reported Variety.
"Complications" also starred Jessica Szohr, best known as Vanessa Abrams on the teen drama series "Gossip Girl".
The Matt Nix-produced series ran for ten episodes and fared decently in its first season, where it was paired with returning drama "Graceland."
The network currently has four pilots in the pipeline to potentially replace the show, including two forthcoming drama series - science-fiction thriller "Colony and drug-running drama "Queen of the South".
