Computers, accessories worth Rs 1 cr seized

Computers and accessories valued at around Rs one crore were seized by election flying squad personnel from a container lorry in Attur today.
Though the driver of the lorry said the consignment was being transported from a private company in Sripeumpudur near Chennai to a private transport firm in Coimbatore, he could not produce any document in support of his claim.
Police seized 2,150 boxes of computers, monitors and mouses and handed over them to Attur RDO Selvam.
