"The procedure/conditions for export of sesame seeds to EU countries will come into force with effect from March 10, 2016," the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) said in a notification.
Earlier, it had said that the condition would come into effect from February 3.
"The term 'with immediate effect' mentioned at Para 1 of the notification... Dated February 3, 2016 is amended to read as 'with effect from 10.03.2016'," it said.
The DGFT, under the Commerce Ministry, had said that Indian Oilseeds & Produce Export Promotion Council (IOPEPC) is designated as competent authority to issue export certification for the commodity.
