Chief Spokesperson of HPCC, Naresh Chauhan said that "the state government should take strict action against guilty persons who had beaten a person to death, while they were smuggling cattle and also take measures to stop illegal smuggling of bovine animals and remain vigilant that border areas of the state are not used for cattle smuggling.
"Strict action should be taken against guilty persons in the state in both the incident as our constitution does not allow anyone to take law in their hands," Chauhan said.
He also urged Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh to take steps to stop illegal smuggling of animals in the state, and take strict action against the people for beating the person to death and other four person, who have been arrested for alleged illegal cattle smuggling.
