"We demand compensation for the farmers whose land has come under land mines and under army ditch areas along the IB in Vijaypur area of Samba district," Congress leader Manjit Singh said while addressing farmers at Vijaypur today.
Singh demanded the government should take necessary steps in handing over the fields to the farmers for cultivation, and also compensation to the deserving farmers whose land has come under land mines and under ditch areas.
