"They (Congress) are more concerned about vote bank politics than addressing the miseries of the people," state BJP chief and party MP from Jammu Jugal Kishore Sharma told reporters here.
"Congress' anti-people policies have been exposed over their failure to meet the Prime Minister in Srinagar.
"If they were really concerned about addressing the miseries of the flood-hit people, they would have come to meet the Prime Minister and discuss issues with him, but Congress is more worried about vote bank politics," Sharma alleged.
"Never in India's history this ever happened. This was for the first time that a Prime Minister went to Siachen to celebrate Diwali with the soldiers who guard our frontiers. He thanked the soldiers as it is because of their sacrifices that we celebrate the festival peacefully," Sharma said.
