Congress leaders and workers across Rajasthan celebrated the birthday of Deputy Chief Minister and state party president Sachin Pilot, who turned 42 on Saturday.
State ministers, Congress and Bahujan Samaj Party legislators, Independent MLAs and other leaders called on Pilot at his residence in Jaipur to greet him. Thousands of workers and people from various assembly constituencies reached the state Congress office to meet the deputy chief minister.
"Wish you a very happy Birthday @SachinPilot ji. May you be blessed with good health and happiness always," Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot posted on Twitter.
After beginning his day by offering prayers at Govind Dev and Tarkeshwar temple in the city, Pilot met his supporters and party leaders at the PCC office.
Ministers Raghu Sharma, Pratap Khachariyawas, Pramod Jain Bhaya, Master Bhanwarlal Meghwal, BSP legislators Lakhan Singh, Joginder Singh Awana, Sandeep Kumar and Wajib Ali, and Independent MLAs Kanti Prasad, Sanyam Lodha, Alok Beniwal and Khushveer Singh met the leader.
Workers and people from tribal areas also greeted the Congress leader.

Blood donation camps, fruits distribution programmes and tree plantation drives were organised across the state, a party spokesperson said.
He said the National Students' Union of India (NSUI) and the Youth Congress also held similar events in the state.
Pilot was appointed the state Congress president in January 2014 and was made the deputy chief minister when the Congress came to power last December.
