As soon as the House met for the day, Speaker Sumitra Mahajan said she has disallowed notices of adjournment motion on different subjects.
At this, leader of Congress in the Lok Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge said since he was unable to inform the Speaker the reason of his party's protest in the House yesterday, he would like do inform her today. "It will not be good if I do not explain it today," he said.
But Kharge claimed that whenever he raised an issue, it was removed from the proceeding records, "like it happened in the case of V K Singh." Singh has been under fire or his dog analogy.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi was present in the House.

When Kharge claimed that the country has "two laws" -- one for the opposition and another for the ruling dispensation, Parliamentary Affairs Minister M Venkaiah Naidu said the Congress member cannot raise the issue during Question Hour as it is against rules.
Members of the Trinamool Congress were also on their feet but did not join the Congress members in raising slogans or storming the Well.
Interesingly, when Naidu was replying to supplementaries on the issue of Swachh Bharat Mission, the pitch of slogans by Congress members grew louder.
At one point, when some Congress members were standing in front of the Prime Minister while facing the Chair, Union Minister Rajiv Pratap Rudy asked them shift from there, which they agreed.
