"They are attacking a Prime Minister who is taking all measures to fight corruption. Congress has politicised something that basically Modi has nothing to do. It should apologise to people for its conduct, including stalling of Parliament," BJP secretary Shrikant Sharma said.
Congress should "cooperate" with the government in its fight against corruption, he said.
Rejecting the opposition's charge of "vendetta politics", he said all the corruption cases for which it was blaming the government were registered during the UPA regime whether it was Aircel-Maxis case or that of National Herald.
Sonia and Rahul Gandhi had hit out at Modi accusing him of levelling "false allegations" against them and making "full use" of government agencies to "deliberately target" the Opposition.
