Alleging that there are more than one lakh 'fake votes' in Mundka and Vikaspuri constituencies, DPCC chief Arvinder Singh claimed, "Our party workers recently conducted door-to-door survey in six Delhi Assembly constituencies and found that there are several persons who have 10 to 15 votes each in these constituencies. In Mundka alone, we found around 40,000 bogus votes."
Senior Congress leader Haroon Yusuf and DPCC chief spokesperson Mukesh Sharma were also part of the delegation which met Chief Election Commissioner, V S Sampath here.

"In view of the gravity of irregularities in voter's list, we demand that ECI should depute special teams to conduct door-to-door verification and survey along with the representatives of political parties, in each and every constituency to remove and delete all such names which are found to be bogus," Singh told reporters here.
DPCC chief said that Congress also urged the ECI to hold elections in the national capital without any loss of time.
Singh claimed that the results of Assembly elections in Jharkhand and Jammu and Kashmir will not have any impact in the forthcoming Delhi Assembly elections.
"There will be no impact of the results of J&K and Jharkhand Assembly elections in the upcoming polls in Delhi. Common people are coming towards Congress and the results of Delhi polls will definitely surprise everyone," Singh added.
