The volunteers, mostly drawn from the NSUI, are working in three shifts round the clock spreading the party's message to the electorate, as well as keeping contact with thousands of party workers through various social media platform, Delhi Congress leader Aman Panwar said.
A volunteer said they are focusing on the Congress' road map on making the three municipal corporations financially robust, improvement is sanitation, health and education services.
"During campaigning for the MCD polls our reach through social media has tripled. We are also focusing on Facebook Live through which party's vision for the MCDs is being spread by Delhi Congress president Ajay Maken," a volunteer said.
The volunteers has also formed nearly 100 WhatsApp groups of around 39,000 party workers whose feedback was used in selection of candidates for the civic body polls.
"These party workers regularly give us information in the form of text, video clippings and photos regarding campaigning by party candidates which is uploaded on different social media platforms," he said.
