Cong renames party's computer cell, appoints new head

Congress President Rahul Gandhi today rechristen the party's computer cell as Data Analytics Department and appointed Praveen Chakravarti as its chairman with immediate effect, according to a party statement.
The department was earlier headed by Vishwajit Singh, a scion of the Kapurthala royal family, who died last year.
Gandhi has in the recent past revamped various party departments and set up some new ones.
