Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya today said that Congress's attitude in disrupting Parliament showed "dictator mentality" of its top leadership the party should instead cooperate in passage of Bills.
"The very attitude of Congress is undemocratic. This shows the dictatorship mentality of Sonia and Rahul Gandhi," he said in a press conference here.
"We are ready to discuss the issues at length. Many important Bills are pending in Parliament. People are looking for passage of those Bills. So please cooperate with us," the Union Minister of State for Labour and Employment said.
Some important legislations including the Goods and Services Tax Bill are pending before the Parliament while the ongoing Winter Session is set to end on Wednesday.
Terming Congress's agitation on National Herald issue as "drama", Dattatreya said, people were looking forward to passage of Bills including those coming under his ministry.
Two amendment Bills from his ministry had been notified to Parliament for passage, he said.
The NDA government had nothing to do with the National Herald case, he said and advised Congress leaders to respect the law of the land.
