Cong spruces up Rajouri Garden bypoll campaign with flash mobs

Congress today added colour to its campaign for the Rajouri Garden by-poll with flash mob performances.
The party has fielded Meenakshi Chandela from the seat which fell vacant after the sitting Aam Aadmi Party MLA resigned to contest the Assembly polls in Punjab.
Polling is scheduled for April 9.
As many as 50 volunteers, divided into 10 groups, performed to a special theme song of the party at parks, streetcorners and other public places in the constituency.
30 such performances were held and more will be organised in the coming days, said Delhi Congress chief spokesperson Sharmishtha Mukherjee.
Delhi BJP president Manoj Tiwari will take part in a roadshow and hold a public rally in the constituency in support of Akali-BJP candidate Manjinder Singh Sirsa tomorrow.
The AAP has fielded Harjeet Singh.
