The Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee and the Indian Youth Congress (IYC) members demanded that Prime Minister Narendra Modi order a probe into the allegations.
The Delhi Congress march from Mandi House and the IYC rally from its Raisina Road office headed towards the BJP headquarters on Ashok Road. But, the protesters were stopped by police on the way.
He demanded a probe by two sitting judges of the Supreme Court into the allegations against the BJP chief's son.
Maken also sought removal of Amit Shah as the BJP president, saying "Bangaru Laxman, ex-BJP chief, had to resign after he was caught accepting a bribe of Rs 1 lakh in a sting operation".

The Youth Congress sought an inquiry by the CBI and the ED. It also demanded the prime minister come out with a statement on the issue, said Amrish Ranjan Pandey, media coordinator of IYC.
The charge has been rejected by the BJP and Shah's son, who termed the report "false, derogatory and defamatory".
