"Take the case of Shankersinh Vaghela or Virbhadra Singh. The Himachal Pradesh chief minister was raided when he was marrying off his daughter.
"You cannot say that vindictive attitude is not there since he has become the Prime Minister," the party's senior spokesman Ajay Maken told reporters here.
The Congress leader also claimed that as many as seven IPS officers from Gujarat have been brought to CBI since Modi became the Prime Minister.
Modi told CNN-News 18, "I have been the chief minister of a state (Gujarat) for 14 years. The history is witness to it that I have never opened any file because of political reasons.

"There has been no such allegation against me. It has been over two-and-a-half years here (in government at the Centre). There is no instruction from the government to open any file," he said.
He was responding to questions that the government was allegedly targeting political dynasties, an apparent reference to the Sonia Gandhi family.
