"Earlier we had not focussed on youth power, but now we have been concentrating towards budding leaders and its effect will surely be seen (during 2014 elections in the state)," Satav said here.

Since the last eight months, the IYC has been identifying youths who are working at the ground-level and contributing to the party's growth.

Claiming that no other political party has been following such a procedure, he said, "The youths will be promoted in the party depending upon their performance. We are the first to start the procedure of identifying the youths and their work. No other party in the country has done this."

Earlier, there were factions in the party, but from now on people who work will only be promoted, he stressed.

"Even if a person does not have support of any leader, he would be promoted on the basis of his work," he said.

"We have started a similar process across the country to entice the youth and the result of it would be visible in coming days," the Congress leader added.
