The party's state manifesto committee met here to give the final shape to its manifesto for the Assembly elections due early next year.
The manifesto has been given final touches based on the inputs received from the committee members and other party leaders. It will now be submitted to the Congress high-command in New Delhi for the final approval, the party said in a release, adding it is aiming release it around mid-November.
According to manifesto committee convenor Manpreet Badal, the members deliberated on the draft manifesto at the Congress Bhawan here and provided their suggestions.
He said all sections of the society have been adequately covered in the draft manifesto.
The meeting, among others, was attended by AICC general secretaries -- Ambika Soni and Asha Kumari, secretary Harish Choudhary, manifesto committee chairperson Rajinder Kaur Bhattal, state party senior vice president Sunil Jakhar, MLAs Brahm Mohindra, Sadhu Singh Dharmsot and senior party leaders.
