Accusing the Ashok Gehlot government of announcing schemes only to woo voters ahead of elections, BJP today said the Congress would annul all these projects after it retains power in Rajasthan.
Addressing a rally in Rajsamand district, Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj alleged that the Gehlot government did nothing for the people for four years and announced a slew of schemes in the last year of his rule.
"Rajasthan Chief Minister woke up in the fifth year and opened 'khajana' and announced schemes in the election year only to be closed by them after the polls," she said and appealed to the voters to support BJP candidates in the December 1 Assembly polls.
In Karauli, party's state president and chief ministerial candidate Vasundhara Raje accused the Congress government of betraying farmers in the name of waiving loans. She alleged the Congress government first waived loans of farmers and now recovering it through banks.
Raje alleged that farmers are now getting notices from bank for recovery of their loans, which were waived by the government, with interest.
Meanwhile, party leader Shahnawaz Hussain addressed a public gathering in Sawaimadhopur in support of party nominee Diya Kumari.
