"We will take up issues ranging from deteriorating law and order and criminalisation of politics to corruption," MPF spokesperson Paul Lyngdoh told PTI.
The people of the state deserve to know about the Garo Hills peace pact and the proposed elections to the Garo Hills Autonomous District Council (GHADC), besides the law and order issues, he said.
The MPF also questioned the decision of the state government to extend the tenure of GHADC twice, which they said was "illegal and unconstitutional."
The MPF spokesperson also indicated that the issue of Social Welfare minister Deborah Marak facing a police charge sheet earlier this month for allegedly using militants to influence voters, would be raised during the session.
