Congress today said it would soon launch a movement in Jharkhand against the Centre's ordinance on Land Acquisition as it would badly affect the farmers.
"The NDA government has brought the Ordinance to please the corporate sector. We'll begin Jan Andolan (agitation) against it as it will adversely affect the farmers," PCC President Sukhdeo Bhagat told reporters here.
Criticising the Raghubar Das government in the state for delay in expanding its five-member cabinet, he said the party would work hard to get back the trust of the people after the drubbing it received in the recently held elections for the Jharkhand Assembly.
