Launching the party's election campaign in Nalbari district, which will go to polls during the second phase on February 6, Gogoi criticised Opposition parties including the Asom Gana Parishad, the All India United Democratic Front and the BJP alleging they are indulging in divisive politics.
The chief minister addressed a election meeting at Bhangnamari Char Madhya Kamrup ME Madrasa near Mukalmua in Nalbari district.
He called upon the people to cast their votes for the Congress "for all round development of the state".
