The Indore police had busted the gang of impersonators involved in the PMT scam and arrested its alleged kingpin Jagdish Sagar recently.
Police also arrested two officials of the Professional Examination Board (PEB) responsible for conducting exams for professional and other courses in Madhya Pradesh after Sagar's arrest.
In a statement, the Leader of Opposition demanded a CBI probe into the scam, alleging that it is not only linked to the top echelons of power in Madhya Pradesh, but had also played with the future of a large number of deserving candidates of the state.
He wanted to know the name of the BJP office bearer at whose printing press, the question papers were allegedly printed and whether he is none other than the confidante of those heading the BJP government in Madhya Pradesh.
He demanded to know with which political party the main PMT scam accused Sagar is associated and who were the leaders who had dined with him during their Indore visit.
Ajay alleged that there are a number of issues which may expose the scam's links to the ruling BJP.
