"I fully agree with the demand of MGP (ruling ally Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party) that Assembly be dissolved and fresh elections be held. The state should be brought under President's rule so that all have a level playing field in the rup-up to 2017 Assembly elections," Goa Congress chief Luizinho Faleiro said here.
MGP leader and state minister Sudin Dhavalikar recently accused the Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar of taking the state back by ten years, while the latter asked him to quit the cabinet before making comments against the government.
"When a prominent and a senior cabinet minister makes a statement that all is not good in the government, one has to believe him....I am happy that finally MGP has realised that the economic, financial governance of Goa has totally collapsed under BJP," the Congress leader said.
