Congress in hold meeting in Goa post poll debacle

Goa Congress will hold a meeting to introspect on the Lok Sabha poll debacle in the state on Friday in Mapusa town, a senior leader said here today.
"The convention of Pradesh Congress committee would be held on June 27 in Mapusa to discuss on the recent Lok Sabha results," Goa Pradesh Congress Committee President John Fernandes told reporters.
State desk in-charge Digvijay Singh will chair the convention and meeting of executive committee, he said.
"It would be brain storming session," Fernandes said, adding performance of the BJP-led government would also be analysed in the State and at the Centre.
