The Yatra would cover all the 38 districts in Bihar.
Flagging off the yatra, WCW member and in-charge of party state affairs Gulchain Singh Charak said during the campaign, party leaders would create awareness among the people about the alleged corruption and scams, loot and misappropriation of funds meant for development schemes highlighted by the recent CAG report.
He demanded a CBI probe into alleged misappropriation and embezzlement of public money in Bihar highlighted by the CAG.
A YC delegation would petition Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Union Home Minister P Chidambaram and Governor Devanand Konwar for a CBI probe into the CAG report for the period ended on March 31, 2011, state youth congress president Lalan Kumar said.
Kumar described the CAG report highlighting Rs 22,5000 crore irregularities involving non-reconcliation of the Abstract Bill and Detailed Contingent Bill bills, besides loss, theft, defalcation and embezzlement of funds as 'the mother of all scams'.
The 'scam' is bigger than the fodder scam during Lalu Prasad's regime, he said.
