Congress leading in Inner Manipur, NPF in Outer Manipur

Congress candidate Thokchom Meinya was leading in Inner Manipur seat while Naga Peoples Front (NPF) nominee Soso Lorho was ahead in Outer Manipur seat, in the two Lok Sabha seats in Manipur.
Meinya leading by over 51,696 votes over his nearest CPI rival Moirangthem Nara.
In the Outer Manipur seat Lorho of NPF was ahead of his nearest Congress rival Thangso Baite by over 48,369 votes.
