Congress leading in six Assembly seats in Arunachal

The ruling Congress in Arunachal Pradesh has taken an early lead in six of the 60 assembly seats, while People's Party of Arunachal and BJP are leading in two and an Independent in one, as per trends available so far.
Health and Family Welfare minister Kalikho Pul is leading by a margin of 107 votes from Hayuliang, while Rural Works Department minister Kumar Waii is leading at Bameng by a margin of 439 votes.
Industry Minister Tapang Taloh is leading by a margin of 456 from Panging.
Congress candidate Wangki Lowang is leading at Namsang constituency by 916 votes, C T Mein in Chowkham by 165 and Gum Tayeng is leading in Dambuk constituency by a margin of 456 votes, election office sources said.
The Congress has won 11 seats uncontested.
PPA's candidates Nikh Kamin is leading by 542 votes from Bordumsa-Diyun while first timer Tsering Sonam are leading in Kalaktang by a margin of 645 votes.
Former chief minister Gegong Apang (BJP) is leading in Tuting Yingkiong constituency by a margin of 463 votes, while first timer Dr Mahesh Chai (BJP) is leading by 68 votes from Tezu.
First timer Independent candidate Theg Tse Rinpoche is leading at Lumla constituency by 272 votes, sources said.
