Asserting that the Congress was on a comeback trail, KPCC chief V M Sudheeran today said Left parties blind opposition to the party was virtually fuelling growth of communal forces in the country.
Inaugurating the third phase of Congress stir against the 'anti-people policies' of the BJP-led NDA government, Sudheeran said recent price hike of petroleum products had affected more the people of a consumer state like Kerala.
NDA brought the land bill with a view to appeasing corporates, he charged.
The BJP-led NDA government was in the process of sabotaging labour laws in the country, he alleged.
"Congress would fight back by taking up the issues that affects the day-to-day life of the people," he said adding the party would resist the BJP government's attempt to create divisions in the country on communal lines.
He claimed the left parties blind opposition to the Congress was fuelling growth of communal forces.
Congress workers staged dharnas in front of Central government offices across the state as part of its plan to intensify agitation against the NDA government.
