Leader of the Congress opposition in the Madhya Pradesh assembly Ajay Singh asked MP Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today why he had not handed over an inquiry into the Professional Examination Board scam to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
The scam had jeopardised the future of 1.25 crore youth, he said in a statement issued here today.
It was sad that meritorious students were not chosen for the Pre-Medical Test, while those who paid Rs 75 lakh were selected.
He alleged since Chouhan seemed reluctant to hand over the inquiry into the scam to the CBI, it appears that the MP CM too was involved in it.
