The opposition Congress is gearing up to corner the Manohar Parrikar government in Goa on host of issues during the monsoon session of the Legislative Assembly beginning tomorrow.
"There are series of issues that can be raised on the floor of the House. There is enough to corner the state government. We will highlight each of their failures," Leader of Opposition Chandrakant Kavlekar told PTI today.
The Congress Legislature Party today held a meeting to chart out its strategy.
Kavlekar said "all the democratic and legislative methods would be used to expose the state government which is made up of unholy alliance."
"The issue of desecration of religious places, failure to shift the off shore casinos, uncontrolled narcotic trade, would be raised on the floor of the House," he said.
The session will culminate on August 7.
