Taking a jibe at UPA's decision of raising the cap of subsidised cooking gas from nine to 12 per household in a year, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh today said that the Congress is heading towards its "last show" at the Centre.
"Nine to 12 night show is always considered the last show. Congress government's decision to increase the quota of subsidised cylinders from nine to 12 will not help the party. This was the last show of the Congress party. There will be no further Congress show after that," he told reporters at the Raipur Press Club here today.
Questioning the move, he said that Congress is terming the subsidy hike as a game changer but what kind of game changer it is?
"First Congress government created trouble for consumers and women by reducing the cylinder quota. Later, they increased it after Rahul Gandhi's announcement," he said.
Claiming that a BJP-led NDA government would come to power after Lok Sabha elections, he said, that surveys show that the Congress will not be able to get more than 100 seats.
