According to the results declared so far, Congress has bagged 35 seats, including 11 uncontested, and leading in 5.
BJP won four seats and was leading in five.
People's Party of Arunachal (PPA) won three seats and was leading in 2. An independent won one seat.
Prominent Congress winners include former chief minister Jarbom Gamlin (Liromoba), Speaker Wanglin Lowangdong (Borduria-Bogapani), deputy speaker Jomde Kena (Likabali, RWD Minister Kumar Waii (Bameng), Industries minister Tapang Taloh (Panging), Food and Civil Supply minister Kamlung Mosang (Miao) and Minister of Department of Tirap, Changlang and Longding (DoTCL), transport and cooperation Newlai Tingkhatra (Kanubari).

The result of Kanubari constituency would be countermanded and re-poll ordered as the winner Tingkhatra died on May 7 at a Gurgaon hospital following cardiac arrest, election office sources said.

Congress lost in Nampong, Bordumsa-Diyun Khonsa West, Khonsa East, Nari-Koyu, Bomdila and Meriyang-Geku constituencies.
Opposition BJP, which won three seats during the 2009 assembly polls, so far managed four seats - Mariyang-Geku, Nari-Koyu, Nampong and Bomdila and was leading in 5 seats.
The party had won 4 seats in the 2009 Assembly polls.
The NCP which bagged five seats in the last election failed to open its account this time.
A lone independent had also won the Tawang seat.
