The Congress legislative party which met here today ahead of the Goa Assembly's Budget session, scheduled to start from February 19, passed a resolution wishing Parrikar a speedy recovery, said senior Congress leader Pratapsinh Rane.
"He is our colleague and a good friend. I pray for his speedy recovery. I would like to see him in action soon," Rane told reporters.
Parrikar was admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai yesterday after he complained of stomachache the previous night.
The chief minister's office said earlier today that Parrikar was suffering from "mild pancreatitis" and would be discharged in a day or two.
