Congress worker shot dead by unidentified people in MP

A local Congress worker was shot dead at Joyan village in the district today by unidentified people, the police said today.
Vikram Singh Anjana (40) was shot in the stomach by unidentified men, after which he died. His body was found on the roadside near Joyan village, Alot police station in-charge Arvind Singh Rathore said.
Anjana had left home last night for a walk and his body was found today on the roadside under Alot police station area.
The police suspects property dispute could be the reason behind the incident. A bullet has also been recovered from the spot, they said.

Forensic team and other officials reached the spot soon after being informed, Rathore said, adding that further investigations are on.
