Constable commits suicide at Panna

A head constable at Panna Police Lines committed suicide by hanging himself at his house today, a police official said.
Anand Singh Negi (53), who worked as a police driver, was stressed for the last few days after a mini-truck, allegedly driven by him, ran over and killed a person in Jabalpur, said Panna superintendent of police I P Arjaria.
His suicide note said that the accident had got unnecessary publicity in the media which had put him under a lot of stress.
Negi hailed from Paudi Garhwal in Uttarakhand. Further probe is on.
