Constable held for raping minor

A minor girl was allegedly raped by a constable in Jaswantnagar Police Station area here, the police said today.
The girl, daughter of a brick kiln worker, was engaged in household work yesterday when the constable posted in the Dial 100 service allegedly raped her, SSP Vaibhav Krishna said.
On the complaint of the victim's father, an FIR has been filed and the constable has been suspended and taken into custody, the SSP said.
The girl has been sent for medical examination.
